I’m off on a Grand Canyon adventure with my sister, her husband Chris, and Rich. We’re staying on the south rim at Thunderbird Lodge, which is very reasonably priced, and we even have a view of the canyon from our room!
Lately I’ve been antsy and wanting to take off to some new place whenever I can. It seems that whenever we’re on the move ideas start flowing. Especially when the place we’re visiting is naturally breathtaking.
And naturally breathtaking just happens to be the definition of the Grand Canyon. Even though it gets photographed every second, it’s still so tempting to try and capture its awesomeness myself. However, it really is pretty much impossible. If you haven’t been, you’ve just gotta go!
These photos are all from a six mile hike we did down Bright Angel. Next time I visit I would love to camp at the bottom overnight. I can’t wait to share more soon!
